Lasper fields

All along the path to Leopard trail are several fields of flowers. A field of  delicate lasper blooms can lift the mood in a glance. There are Lasper flowers growing along with Gypsies all along the beautiful paths. This design takes shadows of gypsy blooms and laspers collected on one such drive to the Aravallis.  Playfully, creating shadows of these bunches , the artwork happened.

A page from the sketchbook gets converted to this rendering in hand painted colours of those fields of flowers.

This saree is a personal message to self, to know that simplicity, beauty and grace are not limited to size and presence. The flowers in the fields do not care about being admired and are just happy, smiling, little blooms filling a field with their being.
